Edward Blair, who married Sarah E. Harris, was born abt. 1810 and
immigrated to Canada from Aghadowey Co. Derry, Ireland about 1828.
Robert Blair, who married Rose Colquohoun, was born in 1790 and immigrated
to Canada from Aghadowey Co. Derry, Ireland in 1835. Edward and
Robert are brothers but their parents are unknown.
DNA Testing
Participant #7986 descends from Edward Blair and Sarah E. Harris.
Participants #15114 and #25464 descends from Robert Blair and Rose
Colquohoun. #7986 matches the other two participants on 24 of 25
markers. All three participants have a value of 26 on DYS#390
and values of 14 and 15 on DYS#385a and b. They are the only three
participants in the project to have this combination of values.

Conclusions
Conventional research and the DNA test results for the three
participants certainly support the belief that they share a common
ancestor. If Edward and Robert are not brothers it is almost
certain they are cousins.
