Conventional Research
William Blair (b. 1800) was married twice: first to Jane Cooper (1823) and
then to Hannah Crawford (1866). William and Jane had three sons: James
Alexander (b. 1825), William Jr. (b. 1831), and John (b. 1833).
William and Hannah had one son, William Richard (b. 1867).
The three participants from this line represent 3
separate lines. Participants #4023 descends from John Blair.
Participant #4786 descend from James Blair. Participant #4382
descends from William Richard Blair.
DNA Testing
The three participants have tested 67 markers. #4023 and #4786 match
each other on 65 of 67 markers and match #4382 on 63 of 67 markers.

Conclusions
DNA test results indicate that all 3 participants descend from the
same common ancestor - William Blair and Jane Cooper/Hannah
Crawford. This line belong to Group 1 indicating a very high
probability that they descend from the Blair of Blair and connect to
several other BSGR lines.
